and Thither to the Best Visual Effects,” breaks previous records for
“powerful display of strength despite atrocious visual effects.”

Special effects in movies like ETERNALS, Shag-Chi, and particularly Thor: Love and Thunder have drawn harsh criticism.
Love and Thunder, says Thor
The first instalment of Marvel’s Thor franchise has received harsh criticism for its visual effects, and the studio did not benefit in any way by Taika Waititi’s praise of his prior work. The Thor: Love and Theron studio campaign, which won the award for best visual effect, has not been well received by the public.
Marvel Studios’ Oscar nominees for the Best Visual Effects category
Althoυgh Despite criticism for the poor visual effects used in some of its movies, Marvel Studios still has high expectations for the films it produces. The studio’s confidence to submit Thor for the Academy Awards in four different categories has been praised by many. Additionally, the visual effects used in the movie were created by the director himself.
The film’s CGI has problems, which Taika Waititi, who also directed Love and Thither, pointed out and occasionally made light of. The response wasn’t well received by the audience because they began to argue that the studio doesn’t take special effects seriously. After all of that, critics aren’t all that supportive of the studio nominating the same movie for Best Visual Effects.
Marvel Studios’ confidence in submitting Thor 4 for an Oscar is greatly admired.
As news of Marvel Studios’ decision to submit Thor first surfaced: Love and the subsequent six Oscar categories prompted internet trolls to begin harassing the studio. They began to speculate that the studio may be performing this just for fun.

Fans inquired of the studio as to their reasoning. Love and there is a thing Oscar-worthy film. They criticised the company for believing that Thor 4 had a chance of winning the Oscars in multiple categories.
The Academy will nominate 10 movies that would compete for consideration in the visual effects category. Avatar: The Way of Water, a popular movie directed by James Camero, is often regarded as having the best visual effects.
It would be difficult to predict which movies the Academy will shortlist, but it is certain that Thor: Love and Thor wouldn’t be competing.
