Lana Speaks On Possibility Of Joining Miro In AEW!

Lana has discussed the prospect of making her AEW debut and joining her husband once more.

Former WWE star Lana, real name CJ Perry, managed Miro when he was known as Rusev in the WWE and the popular couple have been married since 2016.

Since their releases from WWE, Lana has been concentrating on projects outside the ring whilst Miro has been competing in AEW where he became TNT champion in 2021. Throughout his time with the company speculation has persisted suggesting that Lana could be set to join him.

During an interview with Last Word On Sports, Lana addressed the possibility of appearing in AEW:

“I truly believe Miro and I are a great package, wherever we go. We both love, above anything else in wrestling, the storytelling aspect of it. We have had a great run in WWE, and I enjoy watching Miro wrestle today, just as I used to do back then. Joining him again, wherever he goes wrestling is certainly an enticing offer for me.

So, that’s why if I was to go there it would be about timing and story. I know we could add a lot to an already amazing show. It could happen next week or it could never happen. People will just have to wait to find out. And that is the best part about this business.”

Recently, Miro claimed that Lana was better than 95% of the AEW Women’s division, suggesting that Serena Deeb is the best women’s wrestler AEW has to offer.

Speaking with Inside The Ropes own Liam Alexander-Stewart in July, CJ Perry revealed her plans to return to wrestling.
