Angelina Is an Eternal Versace Girl by HollywoodNuts
For the Rome Film Festival premiere of The Eternals, the newest superhero film from Marvel, it seems appropriate that Angelina Jolie had Versace create her an otherworldly look. However, no one could have anticipated the level of sheer jaw-dropping exquisiteness we saw on the red carpet.
In the latest comic book film, Jolie plays the warrior Thena. over Sunday night, she donned a platinum silver column gown with a ruched and draped waist, casting blingtastic shade over anybody and everyone lying in a tracksuit.
The problem? It was made from vintage metal mesh and complemented the actress’s increased awareness of her press appearances.
The investment dresser has passed down her respect for fashion and the environment to her children by constantly investing in high-quality, timeless products. She recently appeared in a billowing khaki Balmain ensemble with Zahara, Knox, Vivienne, Shiloh, and Maddox while on the LA leg of the The Eternals promotional tour, wearing repurposed clothing items from her own closet.
It was one of the most forward-thinking sustainability flags we have seen waved on the red carpet to date, and it was representative of a new generation that is environmentally conscious, from the Elie Saab Oscars couture to the Gabriela Hearst slip dresses.
There are many other Versace outfits to reinvent right now if this vintage vibe among the Jolie-Pitt contingent persists. Jolie, a follower of Donatella’s style, has worn dramatic pieces from the company throughout her career, showcasing a beauty, more best side of the Italian empire’s overtly glamazon vibe.
Angelina nearly single-handedly ensured that the thigh-high leg split remained a red carpet staple in the early ’10s, but in more recent years, she has displayed a softer side to Donatella’s creations by donning diaphanous dresses with Grecian silhouettes. Let this arresting, shimmering moment mark the beginning of a new, more sustainable chapter in their relationship.
