“There was a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another female; yet, that date was the most embarrassing for both sides since we were like fireworks exploding. After Green Lantern and all the other things, we were both single for around a year… I believe that the greatest approach to begin a relationship is as friends.”
Reynolds also recalled a day when he wished to spend more time with Lively and did so. He said:
“The next thing I knew, she was heading to Boston and I was going to Boston as well, so I said, ‘Well, I’ll travel with you.'” We boarded the train together, and I pleaded with her to sleep with me.
After their initial sightings together, speculations began to circulate that the two were dating. And indeed, as time passed, those reports proved to be true, as both of them wed in 2012, and the rest is history.
