Latest update on John Cena’s Future!
John Cena’s appearances in WWE have become increasingly sporadic in recent years. Advancing age and a desire to devote himself to film have alienated John from the Stamford federation, but his love of wrestling has remained intact.
The Boston champion has been the iconic face of the company for many years, as well as having personally contributed to the growth of this business around the world. The leader of the ‘Cenation’ has won every possible and imaginable recognition, even if the WWE Universe has not always shown him the gratitude he deserves.
In addition to being a 16-time world champion, Cena has held the United States Championship five times, the World Tag Team Championship twice, and the WWE Tag Team Championship twice. As if that weren’t enough, he won two editions of the Royal Rumble match, three editions of the Elimination Chamber match and the 2012 edition of Money in the Bank.
Backstage news on John Cena
Fans are wondering when John Cena will return to WWE. According to the latest rumors, the Bostonian’s presence at WrestleMania 39 is almost certain. James Gunn, the director of ‘Peacemaker’, has revealed that filming for the second season will begin in the middle of next year.
Barring unlikely twists, work will only kick off after the release of the third chapter of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, which is expected to premiere in May 2023. Cena should therefore be free during the ‘Mania’ period.
The former WWE Champion could face Theory at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’, although it is too early to say anything. A few weeks ago, a fan asked John Cena if he believes he can win another world title: “My days in the ring are not over yet, so I don’t feel like excluding him a priori.
At the same time, I am a realistic person and I know where my career is. The top of the mountain is reserved for young people. To be honest, I’m likely to remain a 16-time world champion.” Paul Heyman took to his official Instagram handle to warn the YouTube star Logan Paul by referencing a popular John Cena segment.
“Mad props to @WWEonFOX for the 1st slide. And mad props to ME for the 2nd slide, which shows what happened when my #TribalChief @RomanReigns told me to HANDLE @JohnCena. I just hope @LoganPaul understands what he’s gotten himself into.” wrote Heyman in his warning message to Logan Paul.”
