Latest Update on Randy Orton return in WWE!
Randy Orton hasn’t appeared on television since last May. The Viper played his last match with Riddle against the Usos, before stopping due to a back injury. The 42-year-old from Knoxville was experiencing a sort of second youth, so much so that it made even the most skeptical insiders change their mind.
The 14-time world champion is an icon of modern wrestling, having made his way into the hearts of millions of fans in every corner of the planet. The ‘Legend Killer’ has won the Raw Tag Team Championship twice and once each the Intercontinental title, the United States Championship, the World Tag Team Championship and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
He also won two editions of the Royal Rumble (in 2009 and 2017) and the 2013 edition of Money in the Bank.
New details on Randy Orton
Fans are wondering when they will get a chance to see Randy Orton in action again. As reported by ‘Xero News’, the Apex Predator and Big E should make their return to the ring at the Royal Rumble 2023.
In the latest edition of the podcast ‘Insight’, the legendary Ric Flair revealed that Orton has a good chance of break the record of 16 world titles: “John Cena still makes a few appearances in the ring, but I doubt they will let a part-timer win another world title.
I think Randy has a better chance of breaking the record of 16 world titles. We hope that he will be able to solve this back problem and that the operation is not necessary. I love Cena, he’s an icon of this business, but I think Orton has a better chance if he’s healthy.”
The Viper was also praised by Dutch Mantell: “If he hadn’t been injured, WWE would have pushed him very high. He would have been the protagonist in these months, until he became the great opponent of Roman Reigns.
His injury forced the federation to act differently and bring Brock Lesnar back. Everyone hopes that Randy will recover as soon as possible.” WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash would love to see Randy Orton play the iconic comic book superhero Batman in a movie.
As for Randy Orton, he has previously opened up about why he doesn’t want to pursue acting full-time: “But although I love movies, and I love sending in auditions, almost monthly. Hell, I got a script right now I’m looking at.
But, I don’t think acting is my passion. I’m not trying to move to Hollywood or move to New York and be a full-time actor. The way Batista did it, the way Cena did it, is that they used WWE as kind of a jumping board to go to Hollywood and all that stuff,” Orton stated.
