Roman Reigns was chosen first overall in the 2023 WWE draft and added to SmackDown on Friday. The Enforcer of The Bloodline Solo Sikoa, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, and Paul Heyman, who were also selected for SmackDown, were present.

Cody Rhodes was chosen for Raw with the No. 2 pick, and Bianca Belair was taken for SmackDown with the No. 3 pick. The fourth overall pick, Becky Lynch, was drafted to Raw.
