Ronda Rousey said she would ‘love to work’ with Raw champion Rhea Ripley
She last appeared in the historic main event of WrestleMania 35 against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair two years ago, a match she was pinned by ‘The Man’ for the belt.
‘Rowdy’ then said she was taking time away from wrestling to start a family with her husband Travis Browne.
But Rousey hinted a return to the ring could be on the cards as she opened the door to working alongside Ripley.
She told TableTalk: “I would love to work with Rhea Ripley. I feel like I would be able to do some really good stuff with her.
“When I work with somebody, I think ‘what is that I can do only with them and they could do only with me?’
“I try to think of one thing that we could do that’s entirely unique to our match, that only we could do.
“There’s a lot of things like that for me and Rhea, but Bianca [Belair], too, they’re both really strong chicks.
“I’m so glad there are so many new faces and so much new blood coming into the division as well.”
Rousey, 34, has still not had a child, but speculation over her future was recently ramped up a notch by WWE president Nick Khan.
In the build-up to this WrestleMania 37, Khan said: “Ronda is going to be coming back at a certain point in time.
“Becky Lynch, she just had her first baby, she will be coming back at a certain point in time in the not too distant future.”
